How we process data

This privacy policy covers how Space-Ray (Gas Fired Products UK Ltd) will use its customers data fairly, lawfully and securely.

It also explains how your data will fall into a number of areas all of which are outlined within the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.

1. Consent – In specific situations, we can collect and process your data with your consent. For example, if you tick a box to receive email newsletters or offers.
2. Contractual obligations – In certain circumstances, we need your personal data to comply with our contractual obligations i.e we will pass your address details to our courier to enable them to deliver your purchase.
3. Legal compliance – If the law requires us to, we may need to collect, process and pass on your data to law enforcement in the case of fraud or other criminal activities.
4. Legitimate interest – In certain instances we will require your data in order for us to operate our business, (this does not impact your rights) examples of this are as follows:-

We only collect data that it is entered via contact form on our website or when a purchase is made.

• Contact telephone numbers
• Company information if applicable

• Payment details (value and payment method)

We may collect information about your device, IP address (if available). This is purely for statistical purposes so we can see browsing actions and patterns – this does not identify any individual(s)

Credit Card Security

When an order is placed on our website, and the payment stage is reached the user is transferred to the Barclaycard payment site where payment will be securely carried out using Barclaycard’s security standards.

No payment details are retained by Space-Ray or the outdoorheating website.
